Gates of Kryta mission, when you see oink turn left and go past that house and you will see a hell hound... kill that and there 2346235671345435 undead that pop up.

Old Ascalon - clean out the area solo. I'm getting eggs, bunnies, gold, dye, charcoal, granite, collector drops and crap weapons (that I leave on the ground).

I like to solo stuff as a Junundu for bunnies and eggs.

Lots of them drop there, and also other good items (just got a sup vigor and a sapphire today ^^)

I've been doing the Ft. Ranik Mission (not using catapults, just wading in and killing everything by hand), Great Northern Wall mission (killing off the invasion force instead of running) and Ruins of Surmia (got a black dye there yesterday!) It's working out pretty good, since I'm also getting a decent collection of Charr carvings for Halloween.

For Cantha, yes the starter island is the place. You also want to make sure you go through several portals to reset farming flag buildup. The idea is to do easy areas that contain a lot of low level mobs. You get the same ratio of drops in a shorter time than in higher level areas.

Nolani Academy.

At the academy, you know how normally in the mission you take the back route? Well, if you didn't know, you CAN pull the lever, opening the main gate and sending lots of the Charr waiting outside for you flooding into the academy. Either...

-On a ranger, place traps (I've only been using Flame, Dust, and Barbed, doing two placements of each though the Charr are pretty weak and one placement may work). Use barrage to wipe out the stalkers/casters rather quickly.

-On a W/Mo, do the usual drok's troll farming build. Once the melee charr are dead, run in on the support charr and just pummel them.

Both of these runs take me about 2 minutes or less. Yes, it's that fast!

(I only take out the charr that enter the academy). The stalkers on the cliffs and groups farther south I ignore)

Pikens Square, the Charr outside in the pit, and then go to the Big Charr Altar, clear that, and head up to the mobs of Gargoyles outside the courthouse. I got almost 25 of these items on a couple of runs through the area.

Outside of nolani academy they drop a lot and at the same time you can gather singed gargoyle skulls to trade with the holiday collector in Lions Arch.
I use a R/Rt. template code-->OggkcpYRmGuziJ1wKPOAAAQGjgB

Vermin runs, plus you rake in the usual good cash. I guess just about everywhere you farm these things are dropping like, uh... bunny droppings.

I have just been farming my usual spots, and getting tons of these drops, I would have to say the best is farming the margonites in the battle of turei's procession quest. I get about 10 of each on average per run, and it only takes about 20 minutes, along with usually 1 gold, and lots of margonite masks.
